Q: HOW DO LAVILIN DEODORANTS ELIMINATE ODOR?
A: While sweat has suffered from a bad rep for a long time, perspiration isn't actually the problem child behind of stinky B.O.—in fact, it's nearly odorless! The real culprit is the bacteria that are active on our skin's surface and "eat" perspiration molecules. This activity produces perspiration odor. By neutralizing the activity of odor-causing bacteria, Lavilin deodorants eliminate the cause of perspiration odor at the source, versus only masking it—no bacterial activity means no perspiration odor. Only when this activity resumes does perspiration odor reappear, and with it, the need to re-apply Lavilin.
Q: ARE LAVILIN DEODORANTS ANTI-PERSPIRANTS?
A: No, Lavilin deodorants are not anti-perspirants because we believe sweat is a beautiful thing and something that shouldn't be prohibited (which is what anti-perspirants do through the use of aluminum). In addition to being the way the our body naturally protects itself from overheating, sweat offers a number of other noteworthy benefits — such as effectively and efficiently getting rid of toxins, boosting the immune system and blasting zits. It also doesn’t stink (in fact, it’s nearly odorless)!
Q: WILL THE PRODUCT BE LESS EFFECTIVE IF I USE IT TOO OFTEN?
A: Because the product is so effective, there is no need to reapply until perspiration odor re-appears. We need to be in tune with our bodies—just like we eat when we're hungry, we apply the deodorant when our body signals that it needs to be re-applied.
Q. WHY DO YOU SUGGEST NOT APPLYING THE DEODORANTS RIGHT AFTER SHAVING/SHOWERING?
A: There is no problem applying Lavilin immediately after showering, however, shaving can leave microscopic nicks in our skin, which may become irritated by applying any cosmetic, including deodorants. Therefore, we suggest waiting 24 hours after shaving before applying Lavilin deodorant.
Q: I'VE HEARD IT TAKES A FEW APPLICATIONS TO START EXPERIENCE THE 48+ HRS OF ODOR PROTECTION—WHY IS THIS?
A: Most new Lavilin users have a long history of antiperspirant use, which clogs pores and blocks the flow of sweat. As soon as we let our underarms perspire freely, there is a burst of perspiration which carries these toxins in large quantities. As soon as the toxins have finished draining from the body, the deodorant can function normally. Our skin needs to "adjust" to the new deodorizing mechanism and it may take a few applications for users to get synchronized. We are certain, though, that once your skin and your deodorant are "in sync," you will enjoy Lavilin deodorants!
Q: WHAT IS THE ISSUE WITH HAVING ALUMINUM IN PRODUCTS?

Q: IS THERE ALUMINUM IN ANY OF YOUR DEODORANT PRODUCTS?
A: We think aluminum is best left to storing leftovers than being used to clog our body's pores. Why? Aluminum has been tied to many adverse side effects and also clogs your pores to inhibit sweating – one of our bodies' most efficient ways to detox. This is why all Lavilin deodorants are aluminum-free and work to neutralize odor at the source.
Q: WHAT DO YOU USE TO FRAGRANCE YOUR 'FRAGRANCED' PRODUCTS?
A: Lavilin purchases its perfumes from leading European fragrance manufacturers, and all the perfumes that we use in our deodorants are allergen-free.
Q: HOW DOES YOUR BODY WASH DIFFER FROM YOUR INTIMATE BODY WASH, INGREDIENT-WISE?
A: The products are specifically formulated for use on different areas. The skin on our body is more exposed to the environment than intimate area skin. Therefore, it has a different pH level. Hidden areas have more moisture but need more "air," while exposed areas have more "air" but need more moisture. The Body Wash has a higher concentration of moisturizers whereas the intimate wash has a higher concentration of ingredients which soothe and protect, like chamomile.
Q: YOUR PRODUCT CONTAINS TALC. ISN'T THAT A TOXIC INGREDIENT?
A: The FDA and the European Cosmetic Regulation consider talc to be safe. Talc from some sources may contain asbestos, however, Lavilin uses only Pharmaceutical Grade Talc.
Q: ARE YOUR PRODUCTS NON-GMO?
A: To the best of our knowledge, all the information provided by our suppliers indicates that none of the ingredients in Lavilin products contain genetically modified organisms.
Q: ARE LAVILIN DEODORANTS SAFE FOR CHILDREN?
A: Right now, the youngin's should wait to use Lavilin deodorants following puberty.
Q: ARE LAVILIN DEODORANTS SAFE FOR USE BY WOMEN DURING PREGNANCY?
A: Since our deodorants work on the skin's surface, they are safe for use during pregnancy. Lavilin is also recommended by doctors for patients who have undergone mastectomies.
Q: ARE LAVILIN DEODORANTS HYPOALLERGENIC?
A: Lavilin Deodorant Creams were tested for allergenicity and were found to be hypoallergenic. Since these tests cannot cover all possible allergies, we have chosen to remove the word “hypoallergenic” from our packaging. The fragrances are allergen-free.
Q: ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN-FRIENDLY?
A: As a matter of philosophy, Lavilin products are never tested on animals. Some Lavilin products, including the Fragrance Free Roll-On Deodorant are vegan. Other Lavilin products do contain milk protein and/or lactose.

A: No way. We love our furry friends and would never treat them as a science experiment, which is why none of Lavilin products are ever tested on animals.
