Will 2014 finally be the year you work out, shed pounds, sleep more and pay all of your debt? Maybe, but maybe not. Every year, people make New Year’s resolutions they rarely keep. It's February already, how are you holding up?
Start the New Year right with a new way of thinking. Instead of making empty promises, set goals and give yourself till the end of the year to achieve them. Here are four more ways to get the best fresh start to 2014:
- Be specific about your goals (If you want to lose weight, how much weight?).
- Take baby steps toward your goals (If you’re striving to be more active, exercise on the days with free time in your schedule.).
- Reserve 10 minutes every day for accessing your progress and setting new goals.
- Seek support from friends, family and organizations, if needed.
